The concept of From The earthTM sprouted about several years ago after watching a low budget independent film. A grand vision was established, and the action of forming a film crew began to manifest since then.
Slowly, a team of dedicated people came together. The discussions about different ideas lasted for almost a year before we finally reach to some conclusions on what we would start doing. It was a scary moment for us because most of us had very limited knowledge about filming.
Everything had to start from scratch with painstaking researches on practicing script writings, filming equipments, filming techniques, editing software, sound effects, and many other aspects of producing a film project. Although there were challenges, one thing we all in us is the mind that dares to dream.
With all being said and prepared, it was time to start filming, and hence the birth of From The earthTM. It has been a great learning journey for all of us. Progress has been achieved, and yet more is needed to learn as we realized. With each project there were new challenges to overcome, but with the challenges came the invaluable experiences. What the heck. It was all good.
We are proud to say that we do filming like maniacs into the late nights, on Valentine’s Day, Christmas Eve, and the Chinese New Year. Our goal is to keep on improving and to produce one-of-a-kind works.
